I don't hate panic, they just arent a headliner for me - I get sort of bored and distracted towards the end of their sets but Herring can shred and i have definitely enjoyed their lockn sit in sets.  I've seen panic probably 15-ish times over the years from Lockn and growing up all my friends loved them and played them all the time - it may also have to do with the fact that I was forced to listen to them constantly with those friends and they would go on and on about how awesome panic was,e etc. 

Warren just has those heavy metal blues going and knows how to put on a very entertaining show.

Okay, I have been MIA all week in Salt Lake City checking in here at 9pm after business dinners and at 630am before we started again. What a week fo Lockn! With MMJ coming to Raleigh, I had already abandoned any wary eyes at Peach, but after all this, I am stoked! Finished out with my man Yim Yames. Sad part is I didn't really like his last album, but I will need to revisit it now. Strange thing, I was watching the movie The Accountant on the plane today and it had the Jim James song AEIOU in it. I was stoked to hear that in a movie. Maybe  could expect to hear MMJ, but not his solo stuff. It must have been around the time they dropped the announcement too. Synchronicity and all. The Powers Going Out!
