Welcome to the Lockn' Forum - The home of the original Lockn' Music Festival family!
Is, or speculation? Yim Yames? This is a small add. I know he's popular (was?) but he's not MMJ--though I'll admit I'm not the best at judging "bigness" for bands of that era and genre. MMJ was promoted as the second big thing at last years' Lockn although I didn't see it. He's also out of Red Light's stable, as was much of last year, too. If I were in charge, I'd put him late in the woods unplugged (fixes the sound issue) or at 11:00 am instead of Grass. Please note: This forum is in no way officially associated with Lockn' Festival or its promoters.

Grateful Grass has never been on the bill. Gospel is Sunday morning. Keller has a solo spot on main stage.

No Woods stage is OK with me (I could never make it to all 3) but it does take away options. Maybe that was their compromise.
I would guess BRB is big enough for the people they have on there, not sure.
No Incident listed. One panic set.

I would guess these are shortish interlocking sets like they did at L2 w/ Cheese and UM.

I can see Marcus King opening the BRB. Will get a crowd there.
Of course I prefer blues as the sun is going down, but he isn't big enough (yet) to be slotted there.

Also Im probably reading it wrong but does the early music seem like its going to over lap some of the main venue stuff more this year than years past? How is the curfew issue going to impact some of the late night stuff and why won't they let Joe play the main stage?! Lots of questions!

I'm not a Panic fan, but I know many are, so that is fine. Friday looks like the best night to me. I like Sunday too.
Don't know if the stages will overlap but it won't be instantaneous to move the crowd from BRB to Main Stage, so may have to leave BRB a little early to catch the opening on main.
The Woods stage seems like it is gone. I would guess that is the curfew compromise, but I don't know.
JRAD is perfect for late-night. It also furthers my "No Dead music on main stage without original Dead members" theory. I have no formal backing for that theory, but it has worked for 5 years.

The undercard is really good and like I said, a bunch of the bands I like are playing twice. Just not sure if this is enough to get me back up that way again or not. I'll have to think on it a bit.
