no and no.
i would imagine it will happen after the all-stars are announced.... one announcement per week seems to be the max they can handle

If last year is any indication, we won't be getting a schedule until a few days before the festival.

Last year's timeline:

August 30th - Set times appeared on the Lockn' app
September 2nd - Official schedule posted on website
September 5th - 1st day of the festival

So we didn't get confirmation of exact set times until the Monday before Lockn'.

Yes, Wanee totally dropped the ball on the schedule thing... Then again, a lot of us bought tickets with no advance notice of artists too. I figured, there would be music, friends and fun if I showed up at either stage.

I am not motivated enough to link the image, but the main site is showing Sci>billy k lockn step > sci > Phil (snuck in an extra sci set between billy and Phil)

This makes me very happy but I'm sure some will complain about it

Based on that schedule it looks as if there is room for another artist (or two) on Saturday.

Four sets of SCI way too much cheese for me! Those cats seem to be allergic to melody.
Would have much preferred an extra Drive By Truckers set between Billy and Phil. Dem boys rock hard!
An electric Hot Tuna set in that slot would have been mighty fine as well.
To each his own, still one heck of a lineup.
Can't wait to be back on the farm!

Seeing the two different schedules side by side is depressing. I wish they had added more Phil, or ABB, and not sci. (*happy thoughts happy thoughts*)

I for one am happy for the additional Cheese, the organizer's did a real good job in replacing Bob's Ratdog and Further. Not an easy task at the last minute. Added shows from UM and Cheese will be great Billy's allstars sound like a solid set. Pound for Pound, artist for artist no other festy this year compares(My opinion)The only thing I see as an issue is the lack of downtime to chill and get to know the neighbors and visit the vendors. Only time I see is early afternoon which i usually like to hear bands I haven't heard before. Oh well shouldn't complain

I already had my ticket and flight when this was announced.  Literally knocked me to the floor when this news came across my monitor.  Out of nowhere, not just 1 but 2 days of Wilco. Can't wait.

It seems like they could have asked Phil to play a bit longer on Friday.  I was hoping for that, but the added SCI set pretty much confirms that Phil will only be playing his regular set.  Given that Friday was so Dead oriented when I bought my ticket, I would have preferred they keep it that way with replacements.  But I'm sure it was very difficult to do at the last minute.  I will have fun, but the current Friday schedule isn't why I bought my ticket.

Of course we don't know how long each set will be during the Friday night trade-offs, that could adjust the balance.

I'm very sorry to miss John Kadlecik, way more than Bobby, and sorry they couldn't put him in somewhere in the replacements, but we don't know what goes on behind the curtains.

I agree with the above 2 comments. I like SCI. A lot of fun, but I really was hoping for another Phil & Friends set on Friday. He was going to play 2 sets originally and a 3rd P&F set sounds a lot better than a 4th SCI set to me.

I know some of you guys are disappointed with the schedule changes and substitutions, and I feel for you.

But in recent years I have found myself spending more and more time at the little side stages at festivals. When I get home and someone asks me about the fest, I find myself saying "Yeah, The Big Name Band was great, as usual, but let me tell you about these awesome Little Bands X, Y, and Z that just blew me away!". At Roo in particular I have enjoyed the unknown-to-me bands as much or more than the headliners.

So while I am stoked for everything that's gonna be on the Lockn Main Stage, truly, I'm gonna be sliding over to the little post concert stages whenever they are open.

The addition of a second SCI set on Friday now has me really anxious for the schedule. I'm interested (and concerned) to see how this will impact set lengths.

This has probably been discussed already, so I apologize if it has- but I saw on Keller Williams' site that the Sunday "Grateful Gospel" set he is scheduled to play is with John Kadlecik. I wonder if that is still the case.

Don't get me wrong, I think he'll end up playing until 1:00 am. However, I don't see his set exceeding 2 hours, simply based on the number of bands scheduled that day and my experience last year.

They're smart about the schedule. Last year the Lockn' app had shows scheduled until 11:00 or 12:00 each night, but the music always exceeded that. I'm sure they have a ton of motivations for "underscheduling" - psychologically, it makes the patrons feel like they got "more," even though the plan was to play until 1:00 am all along; additionally, it gives them a bit of a buffer from the curfew in case things run late (as they did on Thursday last year).

So when you look at the mock schedule I made, assume the last act will actually play until nearly 1:00 am (except for Sunday, where I think it will be midnight).
