And EvilNation will offer anyone who has bought a ticket in the last 10 years a voucher for a $25 lawn seat and that'll be the end of it...

that might come from a class action suit. Here, the justice department could break them up--which could easily result in a worse system and higher prices (apparently the case in Great Britain). Or the remedy may be to open up access for the venues. Anyway I doubt we'll see lower ticket prices; I'd rather see transparency with the fees. And nothing anytime soon. I mean **soon**.

I think a fair deal would be to limit the fees to the transaction, not the ticket. So if there is a $35 fee and I buy four tickets, I only pay $35 once. But the fact that they wouldn't do this shows that these are not really transaction fees but additional revenue. Same concept applies to paying a "handling" or "delivery" fee for each of multiple tickets.
