Not sure which thread this belongs in so I thought this would do.
Went to see a dead cover band in Stuart, FL last night. We met up with my music friend, Sharon, and some of her friends. She introduced me to her friend, Mike, from Vermont. I mentioned to Mike that my mom was born in Addison, VT and she had lots of family in that area. Mike joked "we must be related". No joke ... come to find out his grandfather's sister, Dot, was married to my grandmother's brother, Jimmy Burpee. I sent my mom a text and she sent me back a bunch of pics of our VT family. Mike recognized some of his relatives in the photos. I love unexpected meet-ups and this one took the cake!
