So I did find this article, which sort of states that the Campfire band is going to be at Lockn (confirming the poster). It says it is based off of a Lockn announcement. I'm pretty sure we didn't miss it, so I'm not sure if this is poor reporting, or he disclosed something that was supposed to be embargo'ed or something:

Even the URL says Lockn at the end.

But tour dates at the bottom list dates with the Campfire Band and Lockn is not one of them.

Last Round of annoucements should be in the end of June. The Nelson Community Day is on June 17-18 and will be the finals of the Rockn to Lockn. I'd expect them to wait for that to announce.

I would expect he Campfire Band (as already discussed extensively) plus two special guests (Mule and Avett brothers) and perhaps an Incident as well.

I do expect Bob WEir to be the Avett's special guest but that is just a belief and I have no source for that at all.

JRAD for me. I can swing VIP but I can't do SVIP and all the other music I want to this year.

So, probably not surprising, but John K. is going to be with Keller William's Grateful Gospel.

This will mark John K. as a 5 time performer at Lockn.

That group got smaller this year with no TTB and no Chris Robinson.

I also don't recall him at L3.
But I never made it up the hill to any GG shows; is that where he was?

But I sure will be glad to see him there and would love it if he got on a main stage. I saw him a few months ago here and he always shines.

He has been with Grateful Gospel at L2, 3, 4, and now 5. He was supposed to play a set on top of the Further bus at L2, but I can't swear that actually happened. I think be made at least one sit-in appearance on the main stage as well.

There will be another round of announcements, so it would depend on what you defined as major. Most guests artists. Not headliners, so I think I am agreeing with you.

since we already have Weir on campus, another set would not be "a major artist added" and neither would adding Campfire--they would be great but are not commercially "major." So you could be right!
