Forum meetup poll

Trying to put something out there.  All suggestions welcome, I will try to add more choices if I can ( I'm sure Sneake could help if I can't ). 

Can't wait to see you guys! One of my favorite moments was the meetup last year. It felt like a family reunion even though most of us didn't know each other beforehand. Look forward to meeting new people too, its nice seeing the board speed up.

I voted for Friday after JGB even though that is when the other M&G is scheduled frankly because it just seems like the best time. Really wish we hadn't been split into two groups but I guess it is just like real life.

Depending on what time it is on Friday, I'll still show up, but I am committed to help set up the LFF M & G Friday morning and will probably be there until 1. My spot in ADA is still open as a stopping point to/from shows guys. Please stop by! Also if we gather at Blue Ridge Bowl are we lugging coolers up there?

I'm not sure you can take coolers to BRB this year. At TTB, BRB was fenced off and no coolers were allowed, and they had beer vendors in a fenced in enclave.  I have no idea how it will be set up for Lockn but I'm going to check it out before humping beer over there.

Adding more fences is never good. I'm hoping the were temporary. Bonnaroo year one had hardly any fences. Last time I went I've never flat more like cattle.

What is the size of the brb compared to shakedown stage last year?

It's much bigger, but if they do the "alcohol jail" like that did for TTB, it's gonna suck for drinkers. Luckily I don't drink...

It's good to know you'll be close by in case I miss you at the M&G.

I'm guessing that if they sell beer there (like the concerts) they have to control the area, but not if there are no vendors

No offense to Wild Bill, Andie or any of the other LFF mods, but I ain't goin to no M&G that 3,000 people have been invited to. Seems like staying at camp and watching the world go by would have the same effect.

I don't give a damn when it's held as long as it's before North Mississippi Allstars or after Bobby.

i'd like to do it friday, but if Andie Bee can't make it, i'd rather move it to saturday. any reason sat wont work?

Actually, I should be able to do Saturday. It's not like I'm going to be doing anything different from Friday. I don't have a preference about the bands at that time on either day.

I'm down. Planning on bringing some Atlanta brew and my pimento cheese and crackers. Will probably stand off to the side nervously contemplating talking to people but deciding not to. Hooray for being socially awkward.

When I was in Denmark, someone put a pin on my shirt that said (in Danish): "Wink, I'll do the rest". Wish I had that pin for you. No worries. You don't even have to wink. Just show up, we'll do the rest!
