Seeking ride from NYC (or somewhere nearby-ish) Thanks!

Lockn's in a gorgeous place but hard for car-less city folks to get to ...

We have gas money, good attitudes, some gear but not too much stuff.  Anyone have room for 2?  We're in Brooklyn, and hoping for a ride from NYC, but if you're passing nearby and Brooklyn / Manhattan isn't convenient, we might be able to meet you somewhere else that transit goes, like NJ/ CT.

im renting a car to go back from Lockn' VERY early Monday morning - basically after the music Sunday night - maybe a power nap for an hour. My original plan is to only ride up to DC to take a 6 am flight back....($89). My friends are doing me a favor and dropping my bicycle off at Amtrak for shipping. I can offer you these options: do the same (plane or amtrak in DC, and we can share the car expenses to DC......or, if one of you will go with me to Lynchburg during the day Sunday (via $35 Shuttle) we can rent the car together and you can continue driving it up to NY - they will let it be returned to JFK - IF you will take my bicycle with you.

2 initial questions - are either of you over 25? What part of Brooklyn?
No smoking in the car - of any kind.

Thanks for your reply. Don't think it would work out, tho ... we're both over 25, but neither of us drive. I have a license but too out of practice to be safe on the road, honestly. At this point we're more looking for a ride there than back, and if we don't find one from closer to the NYC area (still hopin for that ... ), we might be open to meeting someone in DC. But on the way home, early AM leaving to not get closer to home would be too exhausting.

But we appreciate your response and hope you find more driving-qualified folks!

Im leaving from NYC on WED AM (Im volunteering and need to be there by Wed evening)

I don't have a car, but will most likely rent one, looking to drive down with someone wed and back to NYC on Monday AM

I'll pick up the car cost, if you help with gas and driving..

Hey there... possibly interested. I have not secured a ticket, but I am wanting to attend. Logistics like are standing in my way. I live in NYC. Do you others that have signed on with you as well, or are you still looking?

Hey all, I am in a bit of a pickle.. I booked the rally bus from DC directly to the festival (now canceled bc not enough people were interested) so now I'm stuck! I could bus from dc to charlotteville ($28) then take a cab ($80) I am solo from Rochester NY to meet friends from south carolina at the fest. Coming back deems to be more difficult if I don't change my flight return ticket time Monday morning. Anyone going from DC area?? or passing through?

I am leaving early thursday morning around 7 am from nyc area. have room for one or two if traveling light. i have a 2006 subaru forester. looking for some gas money and help with driving if you have a valid drivers license. will be returning monday morning for nyc. first come first serve. i am a 38 year old male yoga teacher good person kind of guy.

I'll be driving down with my buddy from northern NJ tomorrow leaving early morning (we're volunteers). If you live on the route and need a ride let us know, we probably only have room for one unless you pack super light! We're two 22 year old recent college graduates, both male, and both super fun guys to hang around. Let me know before tomorrow morning if you need a ride!
