I went last year but don't really remember the timing / schedule -- particularly for Sunday. What time will ABB get on / finish up? Trying to plan my return trip home. Thanks!

Plan to go home on Monday. They'll play until late into Sunday night.

Not trying to be a nuisance, but can you ballpark that? Like till 10:00, or looking more like midnight? I have to catch a flight early Monday morning, so I'll be driving to DC Sunday regardless. Just trying to get a time frame in mind.

If I remember correctly, things finished up around 11 or 12 Sunday night last year.

that seems to be about right. pretty sure they planned to end a little earlier sunday night than the previous nights

Subject to change. I can honestly say with festivals wanting as many legends as they can afford we are going to run into more and more cancelation's by those legends.

Appears Thursday will be feature some FUNK night with some Rock in between. I like FUNK. One of my favorite shows, from the distant past, was seeing The Commmodoes (w/Lionel Richie) back in '78.  I'm looking forward to seeing Lettuce for the 1st time, and SC & the Gang should be something quite special.

Looking at the schedule, it make no sense for SCI>SC&G.   Is Cheese going to play for 3-4 hours on the same stage with no break? A much better progression would be Lettuce (Funk) > SCI (Variety genre) > Umphry's (Rock) > SC&G (Funk) on alternating stages.

All-in-all, this 4 day schedule is Kick-Ass!!!

can someone give an idea of what time the early morning Triangle shows will start? and how late things will go on Saturday night?

Nobody knows for sure about the early morning shows. I believe, and it is the most common speculation, that the morning shows will be immediately prior to the main stage opening, so figure about 1.5 hours prior.

Also--and I know it's a guess but from last year--what time do the night shows end, and do the after-shows start immediately?
How long do they run?

I guess what I'm asking is someone who went last year and remained fairly lucid to sketch a rough schedule.

My memory from last year is that Thursday started around 3 or 4 and ended around 12 or 1.  Friday, Saturday and Sunday all started around noon and ended 12 or 1.  Late Triangle followed, but I didn't attend so don't know how long that ran.  Early Triangle is new this year, so your guess is as good as mine.

I agree all the way. Was really hoping UM would be the sandwich spot between the two SC sets. Either way I am excited for the whole fest, and really looking forward to Thursday unlike most on here.

who knows, the batting order can always change (as if we have any say in it!) because it doesn't matter to the ticketholders
once they're in the gate. But the owners have to publish some kind of list to keep sales up.

And to continue idle and uninformed speculation, putting SCI (or anyone) on twice in a row sets up a long but "understandable"
intermission--which is also a slot filler, and a cheap one at that, and a way to spike food/bev/merch sales.

Keep your eye on the green. That drives all decisions.

Lame...true interlocking would mean the band playing would segue their final song into the first tune of the next band up.  Or even better hand their instruments off to the next band and the music would never stop for a second.  moe.'s perfected that technique many times...
