It won't be JK he ripped Furthur for using a guy from a cover band. Not my opinion but definitely his. He seems to be a Kimock fan though so I would see that as more likely. Will he have a two drummer setup maybe he could use Jay Lane with him. He also plays with Reed Mathis on bass so maybe that is a possibility.

Dead Feat played at Jazz Fest in New Orleans this year (in may) with Bill, Anders Osborne, a couple local New Orleans guys, as well as Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett performing Dead, Little Feat and Anders tunes and it was probably the best show out of the whole two weekends. Maybe a few of those guys can be a part of the all-stars.

Look, the delay in announcing the "Allstars" is not because of some contracting issue- Billy K either hasn't a clue yet who they will be, or the names are not impressive and Lockn deliberately decided not to announce.  I suspect its the latter.  Trust me, Lockn wanted to announce something big today- if they had big allstars to announce, they would have been announced.

Lockn' had to announce something by 5 pm today to stop the refund bleeding.  It's like basic first aid, control the bleeding first.  Then work on the All-Star line-up.

If Billy can't throw together an all-star band with this line up going on, then....well, I don't know.  I'm just saying I pretty sure it won't be a problem. I will say that shit he did with papa whats his name, not a fan.

Thursday at Festivals is bonus day. Friday is my problem day. Losing Ratdog and Furthur and adding Billy Allstars and a Rockn to Lockn band doesn't really add up

But therein lies the problem. If I was considering a refund (which I absolutely am not), today's additions would have pushed me closer to getting my money back. How am I supposed to decide if Kreutzmann's All-Stars are worth my money if I don't even know who they are?

I would have to agree. You can't have Cheese>Cheese. It breaks up the going back and forth between stages. What they're gonna move the stage setup?

I read somewhere that GP is playing elsewhere friday so i don't think that will happen. Mule set would be a great addition. Maybe ScoMule even though they will be playing together next two nights, although I don't know if they are scheduled anywhere else.

I don't think they are adding any more bands...its done...the only thing left to decide is who Billy K wants to bring along to the party...I gotta be honest I am shocked that mule wasn't added and quickly at that...possibly the other guys are busy, or need the break...However the addition of any other bands at this point seems pretty much a pipe dream...What I don't understand and wonder is; why didn't they ask DSO to play, that would of been a cheap and easy fix to this problem....again I don't know who was contacted or what were the names thrown out to get in place of Bobby...it would be interesting to hear who was considered and contacted etc....the story behind the story of Bob Weir cancelling Lockn'.
